For his debut artist album, ‘Enter The Night’, Drop The Lime steps out of the mold as a DJ/producer — adding songwriter, guitarist and vocalist to his credits. The album, which was written and recorded between Drop The Lime’s Brooklyn studio, London and New Orleans, evokes an outlaw spirit with a modern twist and combines the gun-slinging swagger of Ennio Morricone, the techno grandeur of Underworld and the storytelling prowess of Johnny Cash. An epic adventure of mystery, heartbreak and magic,

The first official single to be lifted of the album is “Bandit Blues” As influenced by Richie Valens as Richie Hawtin, “Bandit Blues” finds Drop The Lime marrying his blues guitar licks and unmistakably sultry croon to the sheer dance music wizardry that has become his trademark.

In addition to all that Drop The Lime has in the works this year, perhaps one of the most unique projects is a promotional partnership with EA Games and FIFA. Aside from being featured on the soundtrack for FIFA Street, Drop The Lime was also filmed performing his track “Let’s Go” in a video campaign to promote the popular sports video game.
