Russ Chimes, who recently signed to Columbia records is set to release Turn Me Out via Deconstruction/Columbia Records on May 17, 2013. Considered as one of the hottest young producers, remixers and DJs right now, he brings his own unique brand of amped up, atmospheric and pop-savvy dance music to the foreground at a blistering pace.

Russ Chimes has had a meteoric rise despite being a relative new comer. He has already racked up an arsenal of huge remixes for established artists like Mark Ronson, Booka Shade, Kelis and Marina & The Diamonds, including an enormous remix for Ellie Goulding, which has had nearly 3 Million plays on YouTube. Fusing energetic driving beats with irresistible groove and heartbreaking melody, Russ’s first EP of original material ‘Midnight Club’ was released on Eye Industries in 2010, accompanied by a unique 3-part short film, directed by SXSW award winning director Saman Keshavarz and co-art directed by ex-graphic designer Russ himself, a combination which has helped to spread his name like wildfire. A new EP and new label came next. Russ established himself a base under the title of Uno Mas Records. He released the more club focused Tonic/Helix EP shortly after, showing Russ's ability to produce club bangers in parallel with the more pop sound of his debut release.

Last year saw the release of ‘Back 2 You’, a 'future Balearic anthem' in the words of Annie Mac with trademark infectious beats, melody, bursts of vocals and sparkling sound effects. Having already gained specialist support from Radio One heavyweights Annie Mac and Pete Tong, as well as Steve Smart (Kiss 100) and Andi Durrant (Capital FM). “Turn Me Out" samples the famous the legendary Praxis Feat Kathy Brown single. It's already had massive support from the Radio 1, Kiss and Capital FM specialist shows. Look out also for his remix on the new Hurts single.
