Reekay Garcia doesn’t require much introduction for those in the know. Having risen to prominence with the Dope & Dusted ensemble via hugely successful releases like Are U Jealous and Electric Guitar, he’s gone on to make a mark on Australian clubland in his own right, with multiple residencies in his home town of Brisvegas and guest spots all over the shop. His first solo release sees him returning to production in triumphant style with a straight up slice of bouncy house weaponry. Lead by a quirky synth hook that winds and tweaks its way across a bottom end groove that’s as well constructed as Miranda Kerr’s rear end, Back To The Beat is an instant play from first listen.
