Static Revenger - Colors At Night

Coming to ONELOVE via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label, STATIC REVENGER follows up his recent release ‘Back Off, Bitch!’ with a track as gorgeous and fierce as the woman who sings it - ‘Colors at Night' ft Kay.

Once again furthering his reputation as one of house music's most reliable hit makers, Static Revenger returns to his ‘Happy People’ (recently charted by Fatboy Slim as one of the top ten songs of the decade) era roots by delivering a nod to his old school Detroit days with the ‘SR Deep Mix’. Close your eyes and this track takes you straight down the steps to an underground basement party, while the emotive vocal from Kay celebrates the lighting directors of the world - the artists who provide us with 'colors at night' and 'lasers and light', whose work play such an important role in our festival and club experiences with the music we love.

Following the current success of ‘Stop, Drop, Roll’, which racked up 60,000 Soundcloud plays in a week, The Needle Mover mix features an emotional break down with an equally beautiful vocoded vocal and a relentless drop, that walks a line between big room and Melbourne bounce, with an out of control arppegiated synth line (literally - the synth arppegiator got stuck and wouldn't turn off, and the decision was made to just keep the part).

Included in the mix, Rising American bass producer Roniks makes his debut with an amazing drum step contribution, not to be missed. Whether or not you get with drum step or drum n bass - you gotta check this one out - it's simply great.

To round off the package, J-Pak a rising EDM star from LA, delivers a soulful progressive house mix.
